Putnam Elementary School

The first grade teacher was wonderful (Mrs. Evans). he acknowledged there Were children with issues and worked with the parents on a regular basis. Second grade teacher was horrible, no communication. IEP was removed because of funding not based on need.

We has been at this school for almost 5 years now and have nothing but good things to say about it. The school hosts plenty of activities for families to go to throughout the year. The staff and teachers have all been wonderful. I had a concern once with my son and another student and the staff dealt with it quickly and the vice principal called to let me know how the situation was handled and to let me know I could contact her any time.

This school is great. Events are well organized. There is no lack in volunteers and parent interest. Students strive for success with the PAWS motto. P (for proud we are) A (for always kind) Working hard and staying safe at P.E.S you'll find. :)

My son is in kindergarten and has a fabulous teacher who communicates with us often. He has made great progress in reading and writing. The PTO is very active and has many family activities to get the community involved.
