Poor! Shelton is a beautiful growing town. The town has grown faster than the school system. There are lots of politics within the school system. It’s not a warm welcoming environment. The school needs the staff to be overhauled and a fresh start. The schools complain about lack of funding but the system is poorly managed. If you send your children here, they will be okay if you are involved. I cannot say the school did much for helping my kids. We had little support. My kids had to work hard on their own & we got outside help when needed. We also pay to play in sports! If I had it to do over I would have planned for private school.

I absolutely hateee it, but then yet again it’s Shelton high school expectations shouldn’t be high. The food in the cafeteria is expensive for the worst quality. Extra activities like community service and competitions are not stressed to the kids. The definition of climate change is that school I would be freezing I’m math then heated in French. There’s is much more to say but it will take pages
