We found the school community to be extremely supportive and welcoming. Families started the school year with a huge picnic and attended events on a monthly basis. For our family, the school's diversity was a huge advantage. It provided our daughters insight and understanding into cultures and communities beyond our own.

We have been members of the Davenport Community for 6 years. We find the school to be a welcoming community that takes great pride in student academics, safety and conduct. The staff and the administration are accessible and create a safe, caring space for students. The school is diverse and makes great effort to be inclusive of all students and their families in the Davenport community. Every school has pros and cons, but at Davenport the pros far outweigh the cons and our children have flourished there because if it.

We did not have a great experience at Davenport. My son experienced a plenty of bullying at the bus. The school is very diverse, and as a second language child it was a challenge for my son to deal with associated problems. Unfortunately a principal assistant does not how to deal with some of the above situations. Furthemore dismissals could be very discorganized, my son was lost one time and nobody did not know where he went or if someone picked him up. He was found at the bus stop, no even on our route, and thanks to the bus driver who called and informed me. Very stressful, because nobody wanted to help me at the school. Overall average experience. A lot of problems swiped under the carpet.
