Excellent. After attending this school I was able to attend a highly rated college and graduated with high honors.

My daughter loves her school, she said she would not change to anywhere, this is where she belongs. Very good track records of academic and spots. My daughter is part of the cross County team, her school has been the state championship for many years andm Daughter is not good at running, she kept trying get and her coach a day teammate kept encourage her, she has been part of the team for 3 years. The school facility is state of art, very much like a small college, great school,

The Tolland public schools have been fantastic to my children. I have to say I have no experience with the special education department, where most of the criticism on here seems to be. Outside of one person who is OBVIOUSLY and painfully conservative, nothing like making a school review your a political platform. That being said, the teachers do not "beat feet" out of the school. The people he/she sees leaving the school at dismissal are the cafeteria workers. And if I made minimum wage in the cafe, I would be running at the end of my shift too. My son stays after frequently with many of his teachers, sometimes for tutoring, other times just to talk about literature or art or to do extra work in the print shop. His teachers are nothing short of a wonderful resource to the community! And my daughter who just completed TIS and moved to the middle school could not have had a better experience. What a WONDERFUL school with devoted teachers and staff. The principle and VP and positive and motivated and keep the kids on track and in high spirits. We have met some of the most amazing teachers at TIS who have changed my daughters outlook completely on math and science. highly recommended!

I regret to say that Tolland Schools are just as bad as any other public school these days. What used to be education has been replaced by liberal indoctrination. Every subject integrates art into the curriculum. Even for HS seniors in AP classes. Collages, poster boards, mobiles, sculptures, dioramas, it never ends. My kids sit through "An Inconvenient Truth" every year at least once. My kids were taught what to think, not how to think critically, by these leftist elites. At 1:30 every day the driveway outside the HS looks like a drag strip for expensive imported cars as the "teachers" beat feet outta there. Thank goodness my kids are soon to graduate.....
