Hall High School

Excellent high school education. Incredible music program. Lots of great AP classes. Fantastic preparation for college. Many students say that after taking honors/AP classes at Hall, classes at flagship State U's were a breeze.

Excellent teaching and investment in the students

I was not happy at this school, for it was not a very welcoming community. It's understandable that students fall into cliques, of course, even I fell into one. But putting all groups aside, there are a lot of nasty secrets some students hold that parents will never really know about. Drugs are an enormous issue at this school, I must say. Juuling in the bathrooms became a big thing as of last year so some bathrooms, even to this day, are closed off. Many people are harassed for sexual identity and even racial, based on personal experience. Yes, these actions were taken to the staff but nothing changed. However, in terms of education, it is not so bad here. My overall experience was okay, but it could have been much better.

My son has some attention issues and Instead of helping him is being made to feel worse about himself. As a parent I feel like I need to protect him from their constant criticism and made to feel like we are making their school average lower! I truly don't think they understand what it means to have this issue. It cannot be corrected by just trying harder! Hello?? That's the problem! A parent
