If you could choose another school to go to for high school I would highly recommended it. No student deserves to be disrespected and repressed the way this excuse of a schooling system does. Not only do students get a bad learning experience but also take nothing from being at this school other than an awful time

I graduated from this school after four truly miserable years. Most of the teachers are there to simply collect a paycheck, and care little for the students they were hired to teach. But then the students are so disruptive and unruly that the place feels more like a juvenile detention center than high school. Looking back, I can say that the worst day of my life was when my parents enrolled me there.

The school is a very inadequate learning environment for students who want to learn. Very few teachers are able to control their students; resulting in unruly classrooms with lenient at best rules. The ending announcements have to preface not to do drugs in the bathroom or not to make bad choices resulting in the students downfall. There are few consequences for one's actions and many other students have realized this and merely take the slap on the wrist and keep doing the thing that got them "punished". Gang violence happens in the background often ending in fights around one through three fights weekly depending on the moods of the children participating. Worst of all many students are not proficient in math and or English, along with bad test scores and a low graduation rate over four years and a dropout rate nearly triple the national average its hard to say that this school should be anything you might want to send your kid to. Get out if you can; if not good-luck kiddo.
