A. L. Mebane Middle School

Very poor bullying policy. They state it is a no tolerance school when it comes to bullying, but they are very tolerable to the bully. Instead of punishing the bully they suggest the child being bullied should just move schools. How does that teach the bully that what they are doing is wrong?

Terrible. I was bullied everyday and it was relentless. My friends also suffered the same treatment. Some of the teachers tried to help but they didnt have a high enough authority to get anything done. If you want your child to relize they have some sort of mental illness, I recommend this school. If not, just don't go.

While a few of Mebane’s teachers were very good at their jobs, most of them did not care about the students at all. Nothing was done about bullying, and many rules about the topic were never enforced. There were many times where teachers would even bully students, and religion was pushed onto kids at many times. Students were shamed by their own teachers for being homosexual. I would never recommend Mebane Middle School to any parent looking for a school for their child.

unfortunately, this school is not like it was, this school does not take care of problems that need to be issued they take forever specially if you are being bullied or pick on. had to call school board. Some staff member and some teacher are great!
