if I knew i wouldn't have sent her here.My daughter has gone from an A student to a C- , although she still gets many 90's & 100's on test shes had 0's because of papers missing from her desk. I have gone to the school many times only to have her grades decline more,I fell the school is bias and always sides with teachers ,My child who use to love school now comes home crying & says she hates school . Choose a different school.
Glad my son is no longer at this school. We had issues with a horrible teacher & apparently the teacher is good friends with the principal. After too many trips to the school & nothing being done I made it clear my next step was the school board! That's when my son was finally assigned a new teacher. Amazing how my A/B student was failing & coming home upset regularly. Switched teachers & his grades & attitudw went back to normal. I truly felt as though the teacher was setting him up for failure & no one cared including the principal until I threatened to go above their heads.
My son had great scores until he came to this school. I am letting him finish out the year but next year, I'm getting him into a different school. He also comes home telling me about children cussing out teachers and was accused and punished for something he didn't do and was suspended. Other children came and told me who really did the offence but the principle didn't care. I am over this school!
This was the 1st year that my girls attended Moody Elementary school and it is a great school. I liked both of their teachers. They really care about their students. The new principal Mr. RIchardson is great! He does special programs and assemblies to show appreciation to the kids who try their hardest to do the best they can in school.
