Aweful, do anything you can do to avoid this school! Move further down the road so they go to Brooksville Elem where the staff cares!! Eastside is low income families for the most part so it appears they get the worst of the worst teachers. Any teacher worth a grain of salt would not want to work there so it makes sense.

I would love to pull my son out of this school but there's not another school here to put him so we have no choice but to keep him there

I feel like this school is not meeting my child's needs. The front office is unorganized. I went to check my child out. They printed me a badge to sign showing my name and it was the wrong name! I gave them my drivers license when we first started so why did this happen? They are way behind on technology and unorganized. My child said her teacher was mean to her when she did not finish her homework. I am sitting down for atleast an hour in the evening trying to help her with math because she doesn't understand it. I contacted the teacher and she said "don't worry about it. We are moving on to another subject so she doesn't have to do that anymore." What? So you mean the one thing she doesn't understand, your not really teaching because you are moving in to measurements? That's crazy and so why did you teach it this way to begin with? Or was you teaching at all? Anyway we are from North Florida and did not have these problems until we got to this school. My child plays sick all of the time because she does not want to go. What does that tell you?

This school is not designed for new students they expect new students to know where every classroom is and where to go this is upsetting to a new young student they have no ne signs on doors or anything else to tell the young ones were they are they need to improve more on the rules there also making a child have detention after school because they don't finish work is not right every child does there work at there own pace and there forcing them to finish before leaving or they get detention this school needs another serious overhaul
