Fantastic school with staff who is caring and willing to help students flourish and learn. Friendly office staff and a positive environment for students and parents. Would like to be able to get more involved and they seem to be open to volunteering.

Amazing teachers and caring staff. Mrs. Long is an amazingly caring and connected teacher.

They abused my special needs child. They all need to be fired and in prison.

Having seen first hand what a wonderful, welcoming and caring school Skyline once was I have to say the turn for the worse this year is beyond disappointing. Starting with the parent drop off area, there are children dropped off in random areas of the school and parking lot and are left completely unattended until the first bell rings. I have arrived as early as 7:10 and seen children sitting in front of the building unattended. The gate pick up which has always been great for parents who do not have time to wait in a 45 minute car pickup line is also a thing of the past. Now we sit and wait for what seems like an eternity for our children to come out. The changes that have been made by the new principal, Mrs. Trombetti, have been viewed unfavorably by many parents at skyline. Mrs. Trombetti is noticeably absent from most school functions and to most parents surprise had taken the day off during the Veterans Celebration. The days of having Mr. Villardi open the car door and greet our children and ourselves by name are gone and have been replaced by a principal who doesn't even wave to the parents as she walks in from her "Designated" front row parking spot. Mr. Cann and Mr. Villardi made such a wonderful team and the care they showed towards our children was incredible and obvious. Honestly , if Mr. Cann was not still at Skyline I cant say that we would still be there. He knows both of my children and myself by name as well as the majority of the other students and parents and smiles and shows the warmth the new principal lacks. I couldn't be more disappointed in the way this school has changed and hope that more parents come forward to voice their disappointment as well.
