Casselberry Elementary School

From the top down the educators and staff are top notch. Mrs. Stanley, the principal, is very attentive and receptive to parent input and the entire group is so friendly and welcoming, greeting students by name each morning. They are also a The Leader in Me School. Which is a whole-school transformation process that teaches 21st century leadership and life skills to K-12 students and creates a culture of student empowerment based on the idea that every child can be a leader. The Leader in Me helps students learn how to become self-reliant, manage their emotions, set and track goals, do their homework, prioritize their time, increase interpersonal skills—such as resolving conflicts and interacting well with others—and develop the skills and self-confidence to successfully lead their lives.

Amazing staff and principal. I have the best memories of my children going to this school. We moved and miss Casselberry so much. There is no school I've been to since that is as friendly and supportive of students and parents as this one. Kids are able to learn and excel at this school.

I love when teachers put their heart and soul into teaching. Mrs. Jaap continues to watch out for my child even though he is no longer attending the school. She recognized when he had a problem and worked hard throughout the year he was there to get him help. She was the only teacher to notice something wasn't right. The other teachers just considered him a problem and wanted to suspend him all the time. She is an asset to the school.

We moved to this state a little over a year ago. This is our second school year here. For every parent and every child it is difficult changing not only the state you are from but also it is hard to transition into a new school. Casselberry Elementary is a wonderful school they make you feel very comfortable for as many questions as you may have. From the front office to the principal, assistant principal and teachers we have had an excellent experience so far. There is a lot of parent involvement which eases the mind of any parent. The teachers our three girls have had so far have been absolutely amazing. The girls have received all the help and attention they need in any area. Teachers have guided us as the parents how to help at home with any area they needed extra attention in. The school has many fun events throughout the year which makes the days more exciting for the students and the weekend events gives an opportunity for families to do things together and be apart of the school, all while either teaching the kids lessons in a fun way or just simply allowing the community to come together and raise money for the school. Our girls are very happy and so are we.
