Deland Middle School

This school is absolutely horrid! My son has been constantly bullied and harrassed and the administration has done nothing but try to turn it around on him in an attempt to make it appear that he is provoking the incidents of bullying. First of all, they won't do anything about bullying unless the child comes into the office and writes a written statement of bullying. Second, when the child reports the bullying, they take the bully's word that the victim did something to provoke them! It is absolutely sickening!!!!! Also, there are very few teachers here who actually show that they care about the students. God forbid that your kid struggles with a subject, they will not get the help that they need because there are no programs to help them.

i love the teachers and staff ther are fraindly and know how to have fun just dont make them mad on the first week respect them and u can have frainchips last forever

I Liked This School, Cause I Had Alot Of Friends, And My 8th Grade Year Was Okay, Some Teachers Were Strict Though. But When I Went Everyone Had A Friend !

I've sent two children to this school and have refused to send the third due to the poor performance of this 'teaching' institution. If you have any questions, just read all the posts made by their students. Few can write a correct sentence. If you actually want your child to have an education, I recommend you look else where.
