I played football here and ended up going to college on a football scholarship as well as academic ones. the teachers are amazing; Mark Whittemore, Will Frazier, and Mrs. Passwater are my personal favorites. with their teaching, I managed to excel in all my ap exams and the other students provided a competitive academic environment. I am currently at university as a biomedical science major with hopes of being an extracorporeal life support and Perfusion specialist. Buchholz has thoroughly prepared me for academic success and helped me in attaining a 4.0 college gpa.

Senior here as well. That last student review pretty much sums up everything at Buchholz, so I'll just add on my experience. Went here, having high expectations, since the school brands themselves as the "best high school in the state and county," but boy, was I wrong, and so many other people who have gone to this school were. The only reason why the "Rich" mentality stays true at this school, is because white kids' parents are filthy rich, and will do anything to get advantages for their kids. The white kids here truly don't know how to act bc they were never taught how to be nice by their parents. If you're rich, you can get away w/ anything. Also, the Staff always act annoyed, and treat you like you're an inconvenience to them as if they don't wanna be there and that it's the last job they want to do before they die - They play favorites like teachers if you know them personally, or kiss up to them enough. If you're not white, rich, or popular, you're not gonna fit in with anyone here. Save yourself the trouble and go to a different school. Or parents, teach your kids better.

disappointed, one sided, not free thinking, not open to discussion without persecution, false narratives being taught.
