Haines City Senior High School

I have twins at this school and they like it. I have gotten quick responses from the teachers when I have a question through email. My kids transferred from an Orange County Public School that had a huge budget. I am very impressed of what this school pulls off with it's extremely smaller budget and severe lack of parent participation. I see a lot of reviews blaming the teachers and staff, but attending some of these school activities with my children, I see very few parents that attend and participate with their own kids at these activities. I see some students behaving badly at these school functions and the teachers and staff can only do so much. Maybe more parental involvement is what is needed. As for HCHS staff, I have had no issues.

It is definitely the worse ever. We as parents want what is best for our children! Why can't we have other options for public EDUCATION? Too many children are overwhelmed and discouraged to learn. Due to the fact that they have learning disabilities and are different. I have never seen such inappropriate and innatentive teachers and staff in my life. So discouraging.

I went to this school all 4 years and I had a great high school experience. It's not bad like people think everyone is friendly and I loved it, I was in JRPTC and Co director of the Spanish news and it was great. Socially everyone was welcome. Just the principal Mrs butler wasn't the best. This school gets better and better. If you don't look for fights you'll have a great high school life.

Hi! this is the most terrible school I have been. The deans need to learn the different between a person who is skip class and a person who just when to drink water! I when to drink water and I forget to bring my pass, And the dean took me to the NEST! for nothing and went I try to explain he just told me, I don't want to make your day more bad! I even told him if you want let go to my teacher, but he just put me in the nest! so I lose one hour of my class for nothing! I'm a student! this is a dictatorship!
