It's not bad at all when you participate and not just come to school and go home. They have a lot to offer. I'm going in my senior year and I love the school.

Where do I begin, no words could ever describe how melancholy and awful my 9th grade year has been at this school. I'm used to schools in Margate and Fort Lauderdale, the schools I went to there are way more advanced and the stuff being taught at this school, I've already done in middle school. This school is so behind when it comes to academics, my best friend goes to J.p Taravella high school and they have been on block schedule since the first day of school and this school has not yet and was to have been on block schedule. Also field trips are another thing I have not been on one field trip this entire year and when I did try to go to one it turned out to be a scam and I was informed that I was no longer paying for a 4 day trip to Atlanta they reduced it to 1 day and keep in mind all the kids payed 360$ thinking they're going on 4 day trip. I said no I change my mind and I want my money back. It took 3 months for me to get my refund and b this time my grandmother was ready to take legal action and I finally got it but the point is my grandmother has to threaten to sue you in order for you to give me a refund? this school is so flip flop and wishy washy I don't recommend any educated person human being with common sense to attend this school

The sad part of this review is that I am a HHS alumni. Today I experienced the least cooperative staff ever. I drove to Hallandale to pick up my cousin Who I've picked up numerous times. Unfortunately, I had just switched purses and accidentally left my Id in the other purse because I was heading to an outdoor event and switched to a practical wallet. I didn't realize till the last at the front desk asked for it, that I didn't have it. She immediately shrugged her shoulders and said she could t dismiss her. I walked away and called my aunt, to make her aware to which she called the school asking if they could make the exception, willing to provide my license number, hers, anything. The lady literally laughed in my face as she said I don't know who you are, and neither does she signaling the lady speaking to my aunt on the phone. As I asked a question, she interrupted insisting no is no dismissal. I asked if they kept a log, which would show I've picked her up countless times, she again laughed. The entire time she did not make eye contact. This lady was rude, unprofessional and unwilling to cooperate. She didn't even try and ask a superior, make a phone call nothing. And to think she is at the frontline of the school. She was red skinnned, with glasses and very slim. Hope no one else has to encounter her unproffesionalism and laziness
