This school is a disgrace to public, equitable and effective schooling. Everything on their calendar is 'FLUFF'. The Science Fair--half done. The awards assemblies---5 minutes long. The principal is nonexistent. They half-do every single thing, including TEACHING. My son absolutely hated going to school here because the teachers were mean and demeaning. I must also note that, if your child is African American, they will be completely outcasted, treated unfairly and excluded from all activities. Nothing that a child does is good enough to the teachers at West Hialeah Gardens Elementary. I would not recommend this school to anyone as long as I live. There is no tutoring offered before, during or after-school and administration is blind to it all. Avoid this school at ALL COSTS if you want your child to be able to compete academically.

TerribleThey have too many students and not enough supervision, I don't think the principal has enough leadership. Honestly I think the school is a disaster.

Always been pleased with the attention to detail this school has. The administration truly cares about their students and tries their best to get to know each individual student. Every teacher my child has had, has gone above and beyond to make his learning a priority. I wish the school would be until 8th grade.
