I was very very impressed with the school. I feel like they need more support in the community with money to help. I see a need for a lot of money to be put towards the school as this age to me is the age where we need to begin our change. We need to do whatever we can to get their grades up to get them leaving in themselves so that they can enter society as a young adult with a lot of opportunities

They change rules and releasetimes without notifying parents. They allowed my then 1sr grader to be bullied over 3/4 of the school year despite my husband and I going up there multiple times.

My kids are in their second year here. I am scoring this school so high because the experience I have had so far has been outstanding with the new leadership. My children are very intelligent and they have blossomed in this school. I like the recent discipline. The only thing I do not like is that it is an elementary and middle school combined. They do the best they can with that but it's through no fault of their own. Volusia county school district just doesn't realize the complications that arise from having kids that are as big as men and kids that are as small as toddlers on one campus.

Terrible. This school is so disorganized! Bullying and harassment go on without punishment. The grading system is a joke. The principal doesn't ever show her face unless there is a camera in it. She is worthless. This school district tests kids to the weakest link and praises children for complete laziness. My husband and I, before moving into the district, saw the overall rating for this school and thought it couldn't possibly be that bad. We figured at least the high school isn't in this district, and that's what matters, right? Wrong! Never been more wrong in our lives! This school is setting kids up for failure. It's extremely sad and disgusting. I have never in my life been so appalled by a school! We moved into this district know Florida has the lowest rated schools in the country, but this is beyond ridiculous! My kids will be home schooled after only attend Holly Hill schools for one year. They will NEVER attend this school again. Very disappointed.
