I am proud of the accomplishments that this school has been ab;e to achieve.

There is way too much testing going on at this school. When a stack of tests from the year reaches over two feet, something is wrong. This doesn't even include the testing that happens on the computers. Many students spend 75 minutes per day on I-Ready.

Our students were just featured in this year's 2014-2015 Red Ribbon National Family Partnership photo contest! Additionally, this week our third grade students will participate in an annual "Make and Bake" pumpkin pie activity, enjoy a special Harvest Feast Luncheon, and take a virtual field trip to Plymouth, MA to learn more about history! This is an exciting school which promotes educational practices that make learning inviting to all children!

I am a parent at Avocado Elementary my daughter is in Kindergarten . I am very happy with the education at the school. I did tremendous research on choosing the right school. I thought charter schools were better and took her out of a charter school. Charter schools do not have the funding and selection of courses that Avocado offers. Charter schools have no bathrooms in the classrooms . Therefore , your child would walk with another child to the bathroom . That's crazy. Parents who took their kids out of Avocado , I would think again and put them back in Avocado. The security, teachers, new administration , new playground , new courses, etc is outstanding . Avocado has plans to remodel school. Homes over $450,000 are being built attracting a more desirable neighborhood. I am so happy and my daughter loves her school and teacher. A proud parent from Avocado.
