My name is Brittani Wilson and u can contact me for questions about this school at (386) 329-1955. IHS is honestly one of the worst schools ive ever attended. Mrs. Kriswell came to this school thinking she could change things and all it did was make things worse, the new tardy policy is ridiculous its bad. for example, I recieved a refferal setenced to two days of ac because i walked out of class because the priciple told the teachers not to allow any passes out of class and I needed to use the restroom but i was too worried about getting to class on time so i wouldnt be sentenced to the entire day in ac. For other, the teachers have their favorites, they choose to treat the ones they like best correctly. Ms.Amar is honestly the nicest teacher there and treats everyone eqaul despite the way they look.

This school went from pretty good to unbelievably...horrible. The teachers have always been awful, and I know I haven't been prepared for the real world but at least it was fun. Now, I dread waking up in the mornings. :( Sincerely, Can't-Wait-to-be-Outta-Here

I am a student at this school, and i hate it! It is the worst school i have ever attended and i can not wai to get out of here, The Principal thought she was going to come in here and make everything better, even though things were just fine in the fiorst place. All it did was make student rebell even more. All the stupid tardy policy is going to do is make student not even want to come to school be cause if you're late, you are put in AC for the entire day. The only thing they are going to achive with this is the increased drop out rate. I cant wait to leave.

Students are not individuals, but are only a 'team' member under the 'power team teaching' method. Third lunch offers next to nothing for those unfortunate enough to be assigned to this lunch time...I pay $2.50 for my son's lunch and expect him to get that quality meal that has been touted by Food Services, not a peanut butter and jelly sandwich (if he is lucky). The new 'lock the door when the bell rings' rule is surely destined to deter students from a quality learning environment. If a really good student happens to be 2 seconds late, gets sent to detention for the ENTIRE school day, when do they get the quality instruction that the admininstration says is available? I think they need to look at each student when they are late, consider that student's overall school performance, then decide about detention for ONE period only. Great JRROTC program.
