They have a new principal start a couple of years named Mrs. Gibbons, who is a joke. EXTREMELY poor communication with parents. She made changes to the dress code less than 2 weeks before the start of school, well after most parents finish buying our children new wardrobe. Condescending responses are the norm for this administrator.Events, school function dates, and times get changed on a whim with little or no notice. The curriculum has become so focused on drilling these poor kids on standardized assessment tests, (teach to the test), it no longer resembles elementary school. Kids are mini zombies, prepping, worrying, obsessing about how to take the test, as oppose to naturally learning and teaching.Overcrowding is another problem, several classrooms are not actually in a school building, but instead being held in cheap trailers, you read correctly, cheap trailers. Cramped, poorly temperature controlled trailers, with an array of issues including leaks, pest infestations, and limited access to working technology.Sad to see a once thriving school be reduced to what it is today.

This school just keeps getter better! The new principal is involved and passionate about supporting students, teachers, parents. The previous review is not accurate as all of my friends love the changes and can't wait for the new school year with teachers who are great!

I have 2 children at Jensen Beach Elementary. The teachers are great and definitely care about the students and their achievements, but the administration is awful. I am unhappy with the new principal, Mrs. Gibbons. She is a bully who cares more about appearances than the students or the staff. It seems like staff morale is at an all-time low at the school under the leadership of Mrs. Gibbons.

I have 2 kids who are on the autism spectrum. This is the 3rd school I tired in the Stuart area for my boys and this is the best fit. They've been attending for 3 years and I love the staff and teachers.
