Love JES.. my daughter is in her last year (5th grade).. I am so sad to leave at the end of the school year. She has been in Dual Language since K. We chose to go to our zone school over the gifted route (JES was not gifted then). She has done amazing and has been challenged and excelling both in school and self esteem!! The teachers and staff are like a family. They are caring and keep the kids on track. They use small group instruction so every student gets what they need.

I wasn't sure what to expect from the beginning of the school year, but as time past and my daughter would look foward to going to school. I realized that the teachers are there for the right reasons. Ms Cardona and Mr Nardelli have been a huge blessing in in my girls life. They are passionate about their students and I give them and Mr Smith (Principal) the highest regard and I appreciate their hard work they have put into the students. As for the population of 54% hispanic, absolutely the majority of the kids will speak spanish only! Thats what makes JES so special, they are doing their best at teaching Americans Spanish and Hispanics English. I think they're doing a fine job at it. Also teaches the students a great lesson in cultural diversity, and that's something we need more of. Thank you JES, and my other two children will be on their way shortly!!!
