My daughter has no break from 8:40am until 2:09pm. She has classes back to back during this time, almost six hours. She does not have even a fifteen minute break during this time. She does not have lunch during this time. Lunch is at 2:09pm. By then she is hungry and feels sick. The school day has become like an endurance test. She also can not talk to friends because there is no recess time and at lunch time the kids are made to sit in alphabetical order. So there is no incentive to go to school since talking to friends is what kids really look forward to. I don't think adults are allowed to work at a job for that long with no break. Why is this happening to our kids then? On top of this, the kids are required to keep a three inch binder. This does not even fit in their backpacks with their lunch box. Instead of loose leaf paper, just enough for that week, in a thin binder, they are required to bring six 100 page notebooks in the rings of the binder. This weighs many pounds and makes it even harder to get the unwieldy binder in and out of their backpack fourteen times a day. The binder is so wide they can hardly fit their hands around it. What is frustrating is that they are not even using all this paper that they are burdened with carrying all around. The teachers give them handouts. Instead of the handouts having three holes so they can put them in a thin binder, they don't, so the kids glue the handouts into their 100 page notebooks. They are also required to have six folders in their binders. The binders can't even support all these notebooks and folders so it is hard to move the notebooks and folders around on the rings. All this frustration for no reason. Why not have a thin folder with loose leaf paper and dividers, or a two three-subject notebooks? My daughter actually thought college will be this way. What a way to make kids not want to go to college! College is nothing like this. In college you will be trusted to organize your own papers in whatever way works for you. You will choose either notebooks or a thin binder with loose leaf paper, but not this cumbersome ridiculous approach that just makes everyone hate school. Way to go making school a completely miserable experience. Who knows the sad impact this will have on hundreds of kids lives.

We are very happy with the school, my children enjoy it very much. I would recommend it, no doubt. Celebration is a community where parents care about their kids education and teachers seem to be motivated and following the same path.

My kids (6 and 10 years old) love to go to school. I see they care about them, there are really good teachers, my kids are learning many things besides enjoying their school time. We are having a great experience!
