TERRIBLE I WOULDNT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO ENROLL THEIR CHILD THERE
student
so-so, good children are never recognized. Students are favorited, limited time given for student work so little that it's almost impossible to finish. I used to go here but I moved to a different school it's much better. (I'm not a current student but theres no other option)

My daughter has been at this school since PK. Teachers do no master their curriculum and overload students with homework. My daughter fears her teachers so much that she is extremely quiet in the classroom as she doesn't want to be noticed. She tells me stories of how students are constantly being punished, yelled at and humiliated in front of other students for no reason. The school has a reward program for redeemable tickets for good behavior and her current teacher uses it as punishment. Yesterday, this teacher called out on students that scored less than 70 on a test and asked them to return 30 tickets that they had earned with good behavior. If the student line leader doesn't open the door quick enough she orders him/her to change his/her color in front of the entire class for wasting time. She even assigns a girl student ( 8 years old), to report back to her if any students misbehaved during lunch. When students return from lunch the teacher humiliates them in front of the others and asks them to change their color in front of the class. Students are grouped based on scores and other kids make fun at students with lower grades. This is just a nightmare!

I agree with the parent that stated during breakfast the children have to be reading... As they're waiting to go to their classes in the morning if they are caught not reading the teachers and or patrols demand that they read!! My kids reading at home has dropped tremendously due to that!! Let the kids be kids.... they have mandatory reading during school hours!!!! My 3 kids have been in that school since kindergarten, there has been different principles, assistant principals and teachers.... Wish I knew why.. I out of zoned all 3 of my kids from Boggy Creek elementary to Ventura and now I'm second guessing it after all these years! :/
