My son finally found a place where he felt like the teachers didn't just find him as a nuisance but wanted him to succeed. It was hard for him to adjust at first, but the program's structure has given him clear goals. It's actually kind of exciting because he finally is coming home proud of himself. The staff communicate with me on a daily basis, by reporting his behavior successes and failures on a bulletin flyer. It allows us to discuss each part of his day. I admit I was really nervous at first because I'd heard so many rough things, but my son is much more comfortable here now. I'm actually a little nervous about him going back to Milwee when he mainstreams. i read on here some people say they only give the kids bad lunch options and that the teachers are bad. My son says all kids always get hot lunch unless they don't like whats being served and then they can get a sandwich. Oh and his class has two teachers and four students so there's a very low ratio. They do require a uniform but it's reasonable so we were able to afford it. I am so thankful. I feel like they're saving my son from wanting to give up on education

My son is diagnosed with autism, adhd mood disorder and impulse control disorder. after struggling since the 5th grade [he's now an 8th grader] with ieps and behavior issues. So here is what he told me,, there are 2 teachers to a low number of students per class, the environment is restrictive but less stressful. students can earn privilege's such as gaming or free time on Fridays. the only negative comment was the lunch which he said you have to earn a regular meal otherwise they give u pbj. which im going to check the accuracy about that. from the previous comments it sounds like whomever wrote them didn't want to follow rules and listen. Yes all the students here are here for a reason, but so far on the second day. Seminole county seems to have provided a structured environment for students with rough public school backgrounds

This school was literally the worst school I have ever attended. I was sent there due to my poor attendance record, and because I was being diagnosed with issues that were out of my control. I was fortunate enough to not have to be locked in those horrible cells they kept at the therapy center. The learning materials are out dated, The teachers pick favorites... I was lucky to get out of that school through main streaming process which took over 5 months and I was stuck there for a year and a half. Do not send your child here under any circumstances because the kids at this school are relentless just as the teachers. Bullying is common to the point of where I had to receive medical attention from me being severely depressed and traumatized by what occurs here. The teachers don't even care if you are getting harassed and or bullied to the point where you fear for your own safety. This school needs to be shut down, I don't understand whats taking Seminole County so long to understand that this school is the worst school it has. Do not send your child here under any circumstances. It will ruin their middle school and high school experience.

This school is not a normal school. It used to be Rosenwald center that got closed. They use a point system of 200 points a day. I attended both and both schools had terribly out dated books and cut rate teachers. The therapy center in both was a row of fiber glass divided desks, that they upgraded to solid concrete wall to decide the desks in Endevor. Both therapy centers had two 2inch thick glass holding cells they would lock a kid in side if he was being defiant. I was locked inside of one for simply not doing class work. To the purpose of the point system the kids are not alloud to lose 11 points. Other wise they will not go to "regular lunch" in stead they get a cheese sandwich a apple and a milk carton. Half of the students there WILL not get the special help or didn't need special help in the first place. The school is now fenced off by a 11 metal bar fence. Do not and send your child there and if you have take him out immidietly
