I am a former Blake parent, and I have to say, not many schools make you feel like your part of their family. All the teachers, including the principal, are very friendly and caring. I never had any problems with the teachers, in fact, they always kept me up to date with everything and constantly reminded me of what a pleasure it was to have my kids as students. Blake normally assigns the students with the same teacher as they move up a grade for 2 years, which is awesome. My kids were always looking forward to going to school everyday, always on top of it and always made honor rolls, thanks to these amazing knowledgeable teachers. We have moved out of state and my kids still talk about Blake Academy, how much they miss their teachers and the school overall.

We all know that every child as well as each school is unique. Blake Academy has been a great school for all of my three kids. My youngest child in 6th grade, who has been in this school since first grade loves his teachers, friends and all the school activities. It is a pleasure to watch him getting excited to get up every morning to attend school and learn - he does not even want to miss his bus and school even when he is not feeling well. We owe it to the school Principal, the teachers and the school staff, who make the environment family-oriented for our kids to feel safe and cared for. The "out of the box" concept is highly recommended, especially their Gifted program, the leadership training and workshops that helped developed our kids academic growth, social skills and intellectual growth. A five stars to this school is a must, as my two older kids also enjoyed their time in this school and their previous teachers, but enjoy visiting during family festivals and concerts. It is always a team effort to make it successful. Blake Academy has been training our kids to be responsible individuals. The best system is always the one that works! Kudos and keep up the great work!!

I just transfered out of Blake to Mckeel and to be honest... I miss this school SO MUCH! This was suppose to be my last year (8th grade year- which is the best year of them all) at Blake. The teachers are AWESOME! I wish i never transfered because when you enter middle school, your with the same group of teachers for your "last" 3 years in middle school. After a year or two, we become a really big family because we've known every one since 6th grade. I definitely miss my Blake family :( But I love how I still get invited to events and activities. You might think it's the hardest school but trust me- compared to Mckeel, your years there should be a piece of cake (but you still learn a-lot!). They provide after-school tutoring and are very helpful. No matter where I'm at, I still feel apart of Blake(: Year of 2011-2012
