Young Womens Preparatory Academy

I am currently a 2020 student using online schooling. It has been a rollercoaster of emotions. Some teachers are very sweet with not much homework, very kind and understanding. While others are not. I stay up hours for some teachers' work and it is very stressing. I do however, like how the school is very small, so many people make friends quickly. My recommendations are to chill out on the homework.

This has been a great school so far. Although it does not offer the traditional approach to middle and high school, it does offer a much better academic experience than most schools in MDCPS. If you want your daughter to be in a safe, positive learning environment, and have minimal worries about fights, drugs, bullying and mediocre teachers, this is definitely a good choice. If you are looking for traditional activities involving sports, co-ed activities and lots of electives, this is not the place.
