Zora Neale Hurston Elementary School

The principal is useless and is almost never at school. Go to her with a problem and she just brushes you off. They are very dis-organized and never follow through with what they’ve say they’re going to do. PTA never has meetings but take and take the parents money. Had an event that was suppose to start at 8 and it didn’t start till 830 when parents have to be at work.

My child was never happy to attend this school. She is now attending a different school. The lack of leadership and rapport with parents and teachers is demoralizing at ZNH Elementary.

My three kids have attended this school. The teachers go above and beyond for their students

I am proud to say this school has extraordinary professionals and educators guiding our children towards excellence. I am pleased to see not only true professionals but also human beings that care also on a personal level for our children. The school does have to better organize their school assembly and surround system. It is nearly impossible to hear the teachers over the microphone with all the noise and commotion in the cafeteria. It is my first year involved directly with the school and I can honestly say I am pleased! Thank You Zora Neale Indeed you have an amazing school. Only minor changes need to be implemented to the infrastructure of the building to make it look more alive, more appealing to both students and parents. The cleanliness of the school is excellent.
