Poor, and we’ve only been going for a month... but hey, if your kid is already at genius levels and doesn’t need a teacher for help, then this is a great school

9/10. It’s not perfect but no school will be. I would highly recommend it and still have kids going there.

My son has been going to Grassy Lake since Kindergarten . He is now in 5th grade. He has always needed extra help in behavior aspect of school. Grassy Lake has always helped and communicated with me about his learning disability. He has had a great education and has great self worth because of Grassy Lake. It has been a great experience for my son and me.

Lies, lies, and more lies...If your child is already a genius, this is the school for you (just like any other school), however, if you are sending a child to learn, positively shape their life, and become an upstanding community member, this is definitely not the school for you. Teachers are not dedicated to teaching and have absolutely no interest in a child's future and admins are poorly trained, rude, and only there to protect each other and school's reputation. I'm surprised that Lake County School Board has not looked into all parent complaints...or, may be, admins never report them. A lot goes on in this school and most of it is swept under the rug. Some of these teachers do not even like kids but they are allowed to teach them. If you are parent of a child at this school, you already know how rudely teachers talk to kids. Their yelling and screaming could be heard from outside the school. When you go talk to them about a teacher's behavior or something negative your child has experienced, they deny anything bad has ever happened at their school. They'll always tell you there's something wrong with you or your child. They are robots and they all have been programmed with the same message; to deny any wrongdoing at all cost and protect the school even if it means you blame it on a student. I guess truth hurts, that's why they stick to lies. When it comes to taking money from you, they are definitely "Number 1." Fundraising after fundraising after fundraising...that's all they know and do.
