Love the teachers. Needs new principal. Also this school isn't keeping up with the times. As a top performing school in the county. They really don't have what other schools have.

I am not sure about the other negative reviews. I understand everyone has their own experience but ours has been a very positive one. I have two children that attend Vineyards. I feel the teachers and school communicate with me very well. They send notices home, write in their planners or an automated phone call goes out. If I have a question I can call or email them and they will reply back. If I could I can come and eat lunch with my child everyday. As a volunteer, I've gone on field trips as well. They had a nice fall and winter festival. Also, next month the kids will be able to to go to sun and fun lagoon for a family night. Academically my kids feel challenged. I have one that is gifted and the other is not but I feel both of their teachers focus on making sure that they are doing their best. We are very happy here. My advice is, if you are not certain about something contact the teacher first or the office. No school is perfect. We all have to work together, administrators, teachers, staff and ofcourse us the parents.

Wow, such a terrible elementary school. No parent involvement. Wow, you can volunteer to count box tops or help the kindergartner seat lunch. Constant phone calls to sell overpriced magazines and cookies. No Halloween parties? No Halloween parades? No talent show? Parents are not allowed to go on a field trip with their child. There's no communication. They had my son change out of his very nice outfit and put on ill fitting, dirty, ugly clothes for picture day! Instead of 20 phone calls telling us to sell things, give us a reminder call to dress our children in their school uniform! And do not change my son's clothes into old dirty clothes---call the me. I'll come in with his uniform! They get the kids excited about going to sun n fun lagoon. Then they tell us they don't have enough money and will not host a party at the waterpark. What are they learning? What's their schedule? Are we allowed to be involved in our child's education? Our child's bus broke down on their way home. Again, no phone call!! The bus driver, who's been the bus driver for years, disappears. No one knows what happened. Is he okay? Did he retire? Again--no communication! Don't you think our children are affected by not seeing their bus driver anymore?! Please go to a family oriented school and see how's it's run. You don't want parents involved, then get out of education!
