I would rate my experience at this school a 5/10. I love to Learn new things, but the people/ environment is so depressing and uneasy. The people here ( by people I mean the students and staff) are just uneasy to be around (more from the students than staff). The whole school literally looks like a prison, gray brick walls throughout out the outside of the school. Even the layout makes it look even more like a prison. They tried to add color to the school, but they chose a weird pale-ish brown. Didn’t work. 5/10
Good school, probably one of the bests in the states. It provides a good quality education and has programs like dual enrollment, AP, AICE, honors classes, etc. The teachers are overall very good, and so are the students. Obviously, there will be kids who are very disrespectful to the staff and their peers, but the school will discipline them if they find out. There are hardly any fights, the school is pretty clean (for the most part). Most of the sports teams are good, except football. Some problems is that the school seems to waste on money on things like the football team, and gates at the front entrance (its so easy to get in). Also there are some questionable policies and rules like the HERO tardy system, which is really a waste of time, literally (kids are missing valuable class time). But all in all, it is a great school that I would recommend to parents and students. North Port Works, North Port Wins. Go Bobcats!
My experience at North Port was good. I’ve got some bad test scores but my teachers really helped me understand the subjects that they were teaching
Horrible! Everyone in this area knows if your child is athletic you send them to Venice or Charlotte. If they are smart you send them to Pineview or FSW. This school is beyond the worst!
