Not meeting expectations for a top rated Florida school. Keep it simple, let the kids be kids.

I have had FOUR children (two still there) attend Marsh Pointe. The teachers are THE BEST. They are so qualified, so caring and on board. They all LOVE the principal and VP, which helps because Ms. Werner sets the tone. Ms Werner is always there in the morning to greet the kids, they all give her big hugs. Miss Jennie at the front is so kind, Ms. Pinto in aftercare is the bomb, the whole crew is brilliant. I am so grateful to have this school near me. I really am indebted to so many great teachers here: Kearns, Roesch, Blanford, Lipscher, Goelz (both Mr/ Mrs), Glaff, Kenney, Engel, Hauser, Weeks, Whitman, Ellison and Tomasiello ... so many more, including the art teacher and the UNBELIEVABLE speech teacher Ms. Nancy Barney that NEVER gives up on the kids that need extra help. She is a doll ... they ALL ARE! Parents need to be grateful and not gripe about little things: your kids are in the hands of true and caring professionals.

We have had The best experience we could have ever imagined in a public school here in the state of Florida. I recommend the school to anyone living in the area, even above the most expensive in revered private schools. We actually chose to purchase a home in a specific community within the school district so that our daughter could attend Marsh Pointe. Two thumbs up!

My child had so much anxiety while attending Marsh Pointe. In K, the teacher made my child cry during reading time. In first, my child had a horrible year, and the office administration should have NEVER placed my child with the teacher that they were placed with. Second grade was a lot of teaching to the FSA test. Special ED was a joke! My child came home with paper work teaching NOT to capitalize names and the letter at the beginning of the sentence. This school is clueless about reading disabilities, their main concern is teaching to the FSA. Best thing we ever did was leave this school. My child’s self-esteem is back in tact and is reading at grade level, no thanks to this school.
