If I were you id definitely think twice about sending your child at TMHS in pierson Fl. Sure, the principal is a good leader and so is the assistant principal on the high school side but honestly they need to invest in better teachers. Academically the school is going down the drain, students have a hard time learning because there isn't enough one on one learning. also, where are the adademies? you cannot tell me that this school doesn't have enough money for it when there is plenty of programs that fundraise. My daughter has been at TMHS since she was in sixth grade and every single year she begs me to leave but I tell her to tough it out because this is the most convient school for her to go to. The bullying is horrible, everyday I hear a new story about kids being tormented and how they will tell an administrator yet nothing gets done besides them saying "we'll talk to them" this is a serious matter! So if you are looking into TMHS, go back and find a different option. sincerely, a concerned parent

The teachers and staff of this school have adjusted the teaching/testing given to the student's so that even the most challenged child can pass tests, exam's with flying color's. When this happens it helps the teacher's of the school look like they are doing a great job as teacher's but once the kids are in real world and go to college they can't even get into the school because they have not gained enough education to make it through. I am a step parent of a 15 year old daughter that has learning disabilities She goes to this school and makes the honor roll every report card but if you ask her something simple like "what is 5x5=" she wil get this wrong ask her "how to spell "about" and she will not spell it right simple things that elementary school children should know she cannot accomplish on top of all that she never has any homework after school the kids are not challeneged at all in this school but everything looks A OK when you look at the kid's report cards. when FCATS come around that test the kids at a level where they should be at compared to all the kids in the state my daughter makes a 1 she totaly fails every single section of the test.
