Fox Hollow Elementary School

Enrolled my son here for his first yr in kindergarten. We moved here under short notice. I had his physical done on a Fri. The earliest appointment I could get. And he started school the following Monday. I waited 2 hrs in the office to enroll him while they let another lady cut ahead of me. And enrolled her kid first. He missed breakfast. Was late for school. I came up to the front of the line and asked why it was taking so long and let them know that they just took someone that cut ahead of me. Ms Harriet Matthews says "this is why we pre-register, you don't know how to use the internet?" ....so I let that go. Then on his first day of school, they lost his book bag. Couldn't find it for about 3 or 4 days. And all his school supplies were in it. All the unnecessary things that they "needed" but never used. Dealing with anyone from the office or administrations, has been a nightmare. Then after I paid like 50 bucks for his school pictures and bought the 15 or 20 dollar yr book, my son is not pictured in it. Not at all. Not one picture. Not in the regular school pictures with his class. Not in the good news clubs picture that he was in. Horrible school. Horrible town. I just listened to my 6 yr old son say "mommy I'm not in the yearbook anywhere. How rude. I feel so left out." I wouldn't even rate this school a 1 star.

Terrible, this school has been failing at F and D grades for the last decade. Terrible teachers who won't help with students. And bullying is rewarded! Awful school!!!!!

Great school! <3 it! Fox Hollow Elementary School is a wonderful school! The principal is very involved with the students. They are always looking for new programs to help the children succeed.

this school does have great teachers and great opportunity for the students and always try to keep me informed because they understand that I am a single working mother and have trouble keeping up. I know that there is also a few teacher I feel should just be FIRED but it doesn't always work that way. my only complaint is some of the communication between one another . such as my daughter was sent home with a fever and as we all know a child is not aloud back in for 24 hours after the fever has gone away ok so she ended up being out 3 days and 2 another time because even though the ER gave her crotches she was not aloud to have them at school for a sprained ankle even so ok but when I received a phone call from the social worker wanting me to explain why she was truant it just blew my mind I was little upset but other than that 5 stars . I feel like my children are loved at this school which is the second most important to me next to academic achievement
