Not happy with this school. Military family in & out of a lot of schools...13 different ones so far between both of my kids. This one is one of the worst we've attended. Very behind academically & socially. Not enough of variety of work & recess may as well be nonexistent. Only 10 mins per day & not everyday! Kids learn so much better when they have more outdoor time! If your child likes sports this is not the school for you! Basketball goals are not accessible during recess & there is no school gym! Our last school my son had 3 recess per day everyday & PE on some days. There was a basketball court, kickball field, & lots of playground equipment all in the same area & a gym in addition to that! They also held a lot more parent/student activities. He thrived academically & enjoyed attending school! The only plus to this school are the friends he has made!

Excellent school. We had a great experience here with both principal and teachers. Several of the best teachers our kids have had were and are at this school.

I found this school to be okay academically, but lacking in extracurricular activities and enrichment experiences. I think that the children would benefit from a more well-rounded education.

I have two sons that attend Stowers Elementary and a 4 yr old daughter that will in the future. I couldn't be happier with the teachers and the school as a whole. Every teacher my boys have had has been willing to go the extra mile for conferences, additional explanation of course work and just about anything we have needed. For anyone looking for an excellent public school I would highly recommend Stowers. This area has grown greatly but I do not feel my children's education has suffered. To anyone complaining about not enough of this or that then perhaps private schools are better for you. Public schools are always limited in some fashion, but Stowers ranks the best for us!
