My experience at Sebastian, there hasn't been any bulling (2014,2015,2016). The teachers are very well trained in their fields and know what to do in possible bulling cases (if that is what you are worried about). With a new Principle, Vice Principle, and Dean added to Sebastian, bad behavior is being cut down and grades are going up. They are doing everything in their power and more to follow the St. Johns County guidelines.-Current Student
The bulling in this school is WAY out of hand they basically remove the child being bullied and let the people doing the bulling to remain in class. If this is done often enough this bullied child's grades go down the drain. I do not see how this is fair at all I would rather home school my child than send them to this school STAY AWAY
Extremely well administrated, fair. GREAT EXPERIENCE-We have been involved with the school for years and rate it at higher than can be rated.

This school is doing everything in its power to combat bullying and negative attitudes. So much of that is put on the school, which follows all the intervention protocol for the District, and then some. As with most schools, there are teachers that are passionate and a select few close to retirement. This is an national and education concern, not specific to Sebastian. The great programs they do have, like Avid and a blessings in a backpack program , are overshadowed by its 'reputation'. Parents in that area are mostly nonexistent, except for a select few, which contributes to communication breakdowns with behavior issues and climate in the school.
