This school constantly has "incidents" occuring...My daughter has been attacked by the same child at least 3 times now, one "incident" where he dug his nails into her face. Mrs. Jenkins- VPK teacher is rude, aggressive and constantly lies and condones this behavior. The Principal never knows whats going on. DO NOT send your child to this school unless you want your child to get hurt by other children or the teacher. Unreal, I've gone to the school board, St. Petersburg Times...A child is going to get seriously injured there one day and I will not be surprised whatsoever because Woodlawn Elementary as well as the Pinellas County School Board does not care unless money is going into their pockets for each student.

Very little discipline in the classroom. My son found the environment very disruptive and distracting. The name calling and the language that is used by 10 year olds is unheard off and nobody is even willing to admit that there is a problem..Staff needs to get stricter with disciplinary policies and start forcing parents to discipline their kids or start suspending them. Yes it's that bad.

This school was really starting to improve under the previous principal, but as of this year (2014-2015) we have a new one. She's really bad, doesn't seem to care about the students, treats parents like they're the enemy if they volunteer or have questions or suggestions, and her teachers seem really alienated with her. It's really sad, seems the school will go downhill with her.
