I would give them my absolute top rating. The teachers go above and beyond for their students!! They want them all to succeed! And believe that all children can achieve their goals and pass! And succeed on high levels.

I have children that attend 3 different schools currently. I have had children that attended suncoast elementary and j.d. Floyd. In total I have seen 6 schools in this county that put this school to shame. Stay far away if possible

I personally recommend this school to any parent. The principal Mrs. Vermette, is excellent. In a few years she managed to put this school to the extent that it is today. She is a very capable person and always involved in the activities of the school, teachers and students. As for the teachers, they are just the best! I have absolutely no complaints about them, I really only have positive things to say. My son attended this school from K to 5th grade and all I can say is that they are all excellent as person and as teachers. I'm very happy with the school and the staff for the way they treated my son and myself these past years. They are all very friendly, helpful, and dedicated Individuals.

My children have been going to Deltona for almost three years now and I have to say it's improved since we started. I'm not a fan of not having arts and music and that there's very little physical activities. My biggest issue is that students that are well behaved suffer because of the ones with disciplinary issues. I also think there's something seriously wrong with older children being mixed with younger ones because they have been held back multiple times. I don't think 12 y/o boys should be with 9 y/o girls but that isn't a school issue as much as it is a district one. The main office workers are very nice and helpful and so is the guidance counselor.
