The principal and assistant principal here are wonderful, but I would not recommend this school. A lot of people are under the impression that because it is affiliated with the museum, the school is excellent. This is far from true; my child has been to the museum once all year (for an honor roll ceremony). The teacher does not challenge my child or facilitate growth. She is very comfortable with and praises mediocrity--something I've never seen from an educator. I understand teachers can not do everything when it comes to my child's education, but I feel like she hasn't learned much of anything from this school. I only gave two stars because of the principal and assistant principal's demeanor. They really seem to care about the kids and their educations. I also realize it could just be this specific teacher.

I have 3 children at Mosi Partnership School and they absolutely love everything about the school except one thing THE FOOD! There are no choices and unfortunately I believe the school is ripping off the district as far as what's supposed to be served. All 3 of my kids did a great job adapting to the school, the small classes were a big plus (even though one of my kids is being left back but I believe that that is not from lack of effort on his teachers part) they all praise the teachers and the school but cry everyday from being hungry at school. So because I truly believe that Mosi is doing something wrong as far as the breakfast and lunch menu I could only give them 4 stars.

This is a horrible school! My daughter is advanced in both reading and math and this school has yet to challenge her. After discussing with the teacher why the students are being taught to write their own names and work on pre-k level material in the 1ST GRADE, I was met with resentment and a negative attitude that was directed towards not only myself but my 6 year old daughter. My daughter has loved school and learning from the day she opened up her first book and is now begging me to not attend every morning. The majority of the time the teacher speaks to the students only in Spanish, leaving out the children who are only English speakers. My daughter asked her to go to the restroom and she was told she could not go! This teacher should reconsider her career choice because she is not in any way contributing to Hillsborough County's education system. My daughter comes home on a daily basis telling me that she constantly feels like the teacher is angry with the class. Save yourself the time and trouble and DO NOT listen to or be fooled by the fact that this school is connected to a museum, it's NOT worth having your child being treated poorly or not being challenged academically.
