They are handling the pandemic professionally and responsibly. The school is taking all of the necessary precautions but not at the expense of the students mental well being. My senior is happy to be back and largely due to the staff keeping things as normal as possible.

By senior year, I couldn’t wait to leave. I am not the type to ditch school, but I could not stand the place by my 2nd year. I had some amazing teachers at this school who deserve to be paid more, but I felt like the school was lacking in the number of AP and Dual Enrollment courses offered. Graduation was a joke, they treated us like we were being punished and threatened to cancel the ceremony. Throughout my time at WWHS, the administration appeared lacking in motivation and leadership. Assistant principals were bored to death walking around the school all day looking for things to do. Going to this school was like novocaine for my soul.

I dont understand how such a new school has such low ratings on top of that how can this school drop so fast there are good teachers there but not one or two can make the whole school. Alot of fights this year which makes no sense heard one teacher in the office tell a senior girl student why didnt she eloped with her boyfriend i wanted to jump and scream

It's worrisome when you move to an entirely new area with a child entering 10th grade. In our case, we didn't need to.Both of my sons attend Weeki Wachee High and my eldest is set to graduate this year. The first year I heard constant ravings about how great the food was compared to the old school. Both have maintained perfect attendance and A/B averages. One is more interested in the arts and has been a part of the regular and marching band programs. He's befriended a great group of kids who support and look out for each other. The other son was more interested in technology and computers. He has loved his programming and video game design classes. The school is newer so the grounds, buildings, and technology is all new and up-to-date.I highly recommend this school!
