Bak Middle School Of The Arts

Love this school! Our daughter is in 7th grade and we could not possibly be happier with the courses, teachers and opportunities. We paid for private middle school for our other child and the education here is just as good if not better (more opportunities for high school credit classes). Also the variety of electives is far superior to anything private schools offer. The teachers and administration are wonderful and we could not ask for more. So very grateful for this experience for our child.

The worst 3 years of her life and she is still living those nightmares . The admin team 2016-2018 should be fired!

This school is the best in Palm Beach

The problem I have with this school lies in the fact that the ratio of boys to girls is unacceptable. Probably 75/25. So if you have a boy that is athletic and equally talented in the arts, it makes him feel uncomfortable. The teachers were pushing the art stereotype of a goth art major with makeup onto my boy. He hated it. I mean hated it especially when he was asked to dress that way and add black makeup at the end of the year pep rally. My boy just likes to draw and is dang good at it. He felt uncomfortable because there were way too many girls, and the kids who were there were strange. I mean we had multiple gay and transgender conversations as well as inappropriate explicit sexual talk from multiple students. Several students told my son that they wanted to kill themselves. Although the quality of the academics were top notch, I want the mental healthiness of my son intact as well. We are leaving.
