Benoist Farms Elementary School

My son attended Benoist Farms Elementary for 3 years until we moved. It's a pretty good school, I love the aftercare staff and my son's 2nd grade teacher was awesome. Only only issue I have is the school is predominately African-American but yet you can count all of the black teachers on one had. The teaching staff needs to look more like population because the students need to be taught by someone they can identify with.

I am so pleased with the pre k program. I have noticed a positive change in my child. All the staff is great and my child has never had a teacher so sweet and great with her students.

Both of my children have attended this school and I have NEVER had a problem whatsoever. I was always made aware of any issues and had open communication with their educators. Just as well, the assistants communicated any problems they may have observed. My children have IEPs and any way shape or form that they can assist in and during the process, they never hesitated. Transportation and administration, no problems either.

I think these ratings are harsh. Our teachers work diligently to make learning exciting and fun. We invite parents into the classroom to volunteer and be a part of their child's experience. The teachers get along very well. We have made close personal friendships. If you spend time at this school, attending PTA meetings, SAC meetings, Science and Literacy Nights, the Talent Shows, and the Awards Ceremony, then you will not doubt how much we LOVE parent involvement.The Principal, not only knows when locks are broken on any door, she makes sure the District comes immediately to fix it.She makes safety her TOP priority at this school, for everyone in the building. Behavior issues get addressed by calling a parent in to discuss and our school has one of the best Guidance Counselor's in Palm Beach County available to talk with you and your child. We have a zero tolerance for aggressive behavior and we have several solutions for your child, but we need to know that it is happening.Two teachers are based in all Reading Classes to provide your children the highest academic experience. ESE and Speech children are seen every day. Parent mtgs begin at 2:15. Have you THANKED a teacher?
