Lake Shipp Elementary School

I would rate this school a 1 some of the staff are really trying but the majority are not meant to be around kids or show any concern at all.

1 star! I want to take my son out of that school so badly but I don’t have any other options right now.

My children absolutely love this school, and I do too. The staff really show dedication and care about the students. The teachers take pride in students trying and will keep track of students after they've left their class. Even the specials teachers take pride in the children's work, arranging events for parents to see progress. There is wonderful communication from the school via newsletters and notes from teachers. Everyone is very active with the children, and when I step on campus, even if other teachers (not those my children have had) don't know my name, they know which children are mine and why I'm there.

This has been an outstanding year for my son. He has recieved several recognitions for doing his best. The school celebrates the success of their students. His teacher has been loving, compassionate, and understanding. She has proven to be a teacher who loves her job and not her check!
