Alpharetta High School

My student transferred in, mid year. The acclimation from a teacher perspective was not handled well. In fact, my child did better with online learning.

When it came to education, it was great although there are some AP teachers who will make you feel worthless if you aren’t the best. But when it comes to the type of people who attended Alpharetta, there are very few good apples in the mix. The school is very very tight on friend groups & if you’re a new kid you need to be outgoing in order to achieve friendships. Drama is always in the air & the number of fights that happen there are really ridiculous.

My son has attended Alpharetta High since the 9th grade and has grown in to a wonderful student. The school has given him several opportunities to challenge himself academically which then lead to leadership roles to help challenge others. They have many different clubs so the students can develop into the well rounded students that colleges are looking for like Model United Nations, Habitat for Humanity, Marching Band, and many others. I am so proud to have watched my son, now a junior, grow into such a responsible young man through the guidance of wonderful teachers and a variety of challenging learning resources. Alpharetta High is a GREAT School!!!
