I love this school. I came from a school that expected you to know everything about what we were learning even if it was ahead of what we were supposed to be learning. Most of the kids here are friendly, some just play around too much. With that issue I wish the teachers used more disciple. My grades are better than before although I've been out of school for months trying to find the right school to go to and moving. I really like how they have peer mediation here, and the teacher is qualified to be a therapist so she can teach us how to deal with problems with our peers. Although its a great school, the nurses office SUCKS. One day I had to walk for health but the sub let us play basketball with gym, so when I shot the basketball the second time, I feel a sharp pain in my brain not my head. So the lady gives me freaking ice and says come back after lunch if it still hurts, so I come back after lunch and it was my moms off day so she could have been home all day. So finally I can call my mom and she's at some hospital for some reason so she has me to go lay down. Laying down only made it feel worse and the ice didn't do anything to help and I don't even get anything for my brain. That's not the only experience too, I had a migraine which I get often too, and so I decided to lay down because my moms at work. When I was laying down I noticed that the cabinet was a greyish blue in one eye and in the other it was really light brown and I told the nurse, and she did nothing at all. Not to even mention I'm not colorblind in any of my eyes so that wasn't the reason why that happened. Other than that though its a really great school.
The teachers are rude and they give you a lot of homework the bathrooms are DISGUSTING and the food there is TERRIBLE

My daughter just completed 6th grade in Taylor Road. She is in the TAG program, and I believe that is what has made her experience thus far a tough, but good one. I am happy that the school is diverse- as it is my preference she be exposed to many different backgrounds and cultures, as I'm sure she will be later in life. Overall, we don't rave about the school-- but we think for our daughters it will be adequate.
