10/10! I was concerned about attending this school based on the greatschools rating, but I am so glad that I decided to take a chance. This school has been a great experience from day 1 for our family and I can tell my kids will get the best education possible by attending this school. They put in extra effort with ESOL students and really strive to focus on early intervention to benefit the students.
Most teachers at this school are more concerned with how "cute" their classrooms are than actually teaching. Behavior from other students is horrific and there appears to be no consequences.
The teacher turn over is really high and this school used to be really awesome but behavior issues have risen and prevented learning from happening.
The school is welcoming and culturally diverse. The principal, Mrs Goggins, is supportive of parents and teachers. My son's teacher is engaging and creative. I am extremely satisfied with my child's academic progress.
