Sandtown Middle School

Sandtown has exceeded my expectations. My daughter started at a Sandtown in the middle of the school year Jan 2020. She has done very well even in the midst of the pandemic. She has been fortunate to be assigned to great teachers.

Not really an experience I guess for kids who do not make all As and Bs.

They are sending in a new principal who did not do much to improve her current school’s test scores and outcomes. It is sad that cliques run this country and our schools. You are awarded based upon who you know, not actual merit. I want to see change! Why is North FULTON performing so much better than South FULTON? It make no equitable sense.

-StudentI currently attend Sandtown Middle School. I enjoy this school very much. The new principal has input many programs that help students further their education. I recommend this school. It is not the best school ever, but it is absolutely not the worst. The teachers care about the students. Yes, there are fights here, but that's just what kids do. Bullying is not a major issue here. Fights do not occur everyday and the school feels very safe at all times. The also recommend the Band program. The band is very involved in things all over Georgia. The school is just great!
