Spalding Drive Elementary School

Almost every day I think my lucky stars that we chose to move to the Spalding Drive district when our kids were starting school. We are now in our 7th year and have child still at Spalding and it just gets better every year. This school is a hidden gem in Sandy Springs and I couldn't hope for a better school experience for my kids at any school than the one they're having/had at Spalding. Kudos to our awesome teachers, staff and active parent community.

We have 3 children at Spalding and the level of engagement of our kids coupled with that of the teachers and administrations been excellent. There is a distinct commitment by the faculty to achieving high academic standards. The principal has been open and transparent from the start of her tenure which has been refreshing. The school, the teachers/administration, and parents.

We have been at Spalding for two years now and have been very impressed. My son is thriving and learning so much. The staff is caring and responsive and the principal is beyond wonderful. We recently had a small issue and emailed the teacher and the principal and both got back to us within hours. They also made a point to speak directly to my son about it and give him lots of hugs. I was so pleased with how they addressed it. My son gets lots of personal attention and they really work hard to engage the kids on their personal level of ability. My husband and I both attended well known private schools in Atlanta and we wouldn't dream of sending our kids to private school when Spalding has repeatedly proven itself to be a top-notch school. I truly believe my son would not get a better education anywhere else. The community is wonderful too. It has a small town vibe and I really enjoy how involved everyone is. If I could give more than five stars I would!

Spalding Drive Elementary is a wonderful place to learn. The staff is very friendly and caring. The staff know all of the kids and respect their individual differences. The teachers each bring unique talents to the school which makes learning even more fun.
