Overall our experience has been poor at best. Unfortunately we moved to the area for the schools and SC has been a complete failure. Our child doesn't even want to go to school there. Red flags really went up after last year and over 30 teachers left the school, willingly. I'm surprised that the superintendent isn't more involved. I once heard him say that SC has trouble retaining subs because of their location; he clearly does not know what's going on in within those walls. They struggle getting subs in the school because they do not want to be there, in that building, with that administration. They are awful. Reality check.

The administration is putting the safety of students and staff at risk by not supporting their teachers with behaviors in the classroom. Parent concerns are swept under the rug and downplayed over and over and unless parents cause a big battle, the administration does nothing. They look the other way and refuse to do anything for a child who disrupts the classroom and/or causes safety concerns for everyone in the classroom. This is a major issue and has been going on for many years. Administration is fully aware and refuses to support. Unless your child is coming home and telling you what happened in their classroom that day, it is behind closed doors and unknown. Due to the frequency, this might even become the norm in your child's classroom.

They have a lot of good teachers . I think they struggle at the leadership level , and at the admin side . Unfortunately , that sets the perception for everyone else . The principal claims to want parent support and feedback , but discounts when parents give feedback. Since they do not have a lot of minorities at the school they struggle with situations involving different ethnic backgrounds . Instead of just treating everyone the same, they awkwardly manifest situations . Overall , this is a good school and they have some good teachers . It is tough for me to score due to the teachers strength , but there is enough to work on with the leadership of the school that keeps this at a 3.

A wonderful school. My children love it and I can't say enough good things about the staff and extra curricular activities
