Chapel Hill High School

Chapel Hill is a good school. There are areas where it does very well like are clubs. There is a club for any and everyone. Any hobby you can think of is represented and it helps students feel like they fit in with people who have the same interests as them. I also think the school does well in sports. We may not win every game, but the coaches do an amazing job on building not only skill, but character. Our athletes are very respectful and try to be good students even when they aren’t competing. The faculty and certain clubs do well in trying to make the school year fun with different activities like PowderPuff, the Lip Dub and other things. There are areas that could definitely use some improvement though. We have some great teachers, but there are some that don’t have the best attitude towards students. I understand that we don’t have to be friends, but just basic respect when they ask something of students could go a long way. Also, I feel like administration doesn’t prioritize as best as they should. They are very strict on dress code and their cellphone policy, but in situations where you would think it would be an uproar, they either aren’t aware of or they just don’t do more than a slap of the wrist (speaking metaphorically, Chapel Hill doesn’t hit their kids). Overall, I would recommend this school to others because it’s a good school. Just this year alone, I’ve seen changes and improvements, so I feel like Chapel Hill is on the right path to help push us and help us grow.

My experience at Chapel Hill has been fun. Other than unnecessary dess code and phone restrictions, I enjoy my time at school. The students are friendly and the extra curricular activies are a great way for students to meet new people. Some of my teachers were really good at their job and actually had me looking forward to school. I pllay a sport adn even if athletics aren't the best, students still come to support the school.

Chapel Hill High School is a school were everybody has fun but still gets the education they need. As a student that goes to this school, i can guarantee that your child will gain the education they deserve and also have a great high school experience. They offer many after school activities; there is something for everybody at the school.
