Went to this school for 6th and 7th grade and enjoyed it for the most part. The teachers are all fairly nice except for my science teacher in 6th grade, she was obviously waiting for retirement and only showed us videos and red out of textbooks and barely taught. On the other hand my 6th grade advanced math and gifted social studies teach was amazing, she made the class very fun and interactive and I always looked forward to her class. The 7th grade teachers were l very nice and touch us well as long as you actively paid attention. Starting 6th grade was very easy, the transition was very smooth, they allowed extr time in case you got lost, had teachers in the hallway to help you find your class. The school is very nice with few flaws, in the terms of the people there. My experience was very peaceful, fights were a rare only about three during my two years, non physical and the school felt with it nicely. Classic bullying was almost non existent although the gossip (for the girls at least) was vicious, as it is in most places. A close friend of mine was targeted by bullying and the school did little to stop it, the people doing it were called to the office several times and barely scoled, it took some of my other friends confronting them to get it to stop. Drug wise the school is fairly clean although in curtain groups there was a lot of talk about it but very few actually did them. The social environment is very good with nice teachers and and mostly nice students, with the few very closed off groups but those are everywhere. The dress code is very strict on the girls, with many things not really mentioned in the guide book, but if you are one of the kids that the teachers like you can get away with wearing close to anything. One thing the did bother me, a friend of mine wore blue nail polish to school and was forced to remove it because he was male even though there were no rules against it. Overall I loved this school and I hope this somewhat detailed review helps.

I was not impressed with the 6th grade honors program on May 9,2014. It did not contain and thought nor pride. I expected more from a school rated 4 stars.

My son is the Sixth grader there in RMS. It it truly a blessing to be there. Great teachers and very good disciplined school. They really follow the zero tolerance.
